Each of these objectives are integral to a child’s learning. Students are able to build their reading skills with read alouds, independent, and paired reading. Read alouds build interest in literacy for students and library time encourages students to build their reading stamina. We also paired this with reading and watching “Beauty and the Beast.” This has allowed students to compare the similarities and differences of the book and movie. Students are able to make connections around their world by learning about the calendar, Galette des rois, Chinese New Year, animals, senses, living and nonliving, plants, the life cycle of a butterfly, and the life cycle of a flower. In art class we took the other direction and studied Australian aboriginal art which, we noted, was interestingly enough composed of similar colors than the African tribal patterns we had made a few weeks back. We used cotton swabs to make dots around the outline of animals that are famous for living in Australia. Seibo est une ONG japonaise officielle, située à Kita-ku, dont la mission est de fournir des repas scolaires aux enfants qui souffrent de la faim dans le monde. Grâce à la vente de café sur la base d'un don, ils collectent des fonds vitaux pour les enfants du Malawi, en Afrique. Dans le cadre du Mardi Gras de l'école, des membres de Seibo ont fait une présentation sur le thème du Malawi et du café aux élèves et ont également servi du café aux adultes participants. Journée internationale de la solidarité. Pour la célébrer, nous avons discuté du harcèlement, de ce que c'est, à quoi cela ressemble, et comment réagir dans différentes situations. Nous étions tous très enthousiastes de recréer différents scénarios que nous avions potentiellement rencontrés dans nos vies. Ensuite, le professeur nous a demandé d'illustrer un mauvais comportement et d'écrire son contraire en tant que bon comportement. Des projets de cycles sont nombreux et essentiels pour assurer la cohésion pédagogique. Le Cours Élémentaire CE1-2 小学校2-3年生 Elementary School Grades 2-3 La classe en français/anglais・フランス語/英語 クラス・The class in French/English Les projets sont vraiment porteurs. La semaine passée, nous avons débattu sur la Convention Internationale des droits de l’enfant (CIDE). Les élèves ont beaucoup participé, se sont sentis concernés et ont été attentifs aux informations importantes apportées en complément par le professeur. Un des élèves pense qu’il est possible “d’acheter des parents si on n’en a pas”, et pour une autre élève de la classe, “tout le monde doit recevoir de l’amour”. C’est très intéressant d’entendre leur interprétation sur le sujet.  Nous avons étudié la leçon et les exercices sur le présent du verbe être et avoir. Reconnaître ces deux verbes et savoir quand les utiliser, tous les élèves ont très bien travaillé et ont été très attentifs à cette leçon importante. Puis, nous avons commencé le travail d’une fable, et l’écriture des majuscules manuscrites. En mathématiques, il y a eu du calcul mental, retrouver le chiffre avec des étiquettes mots-nombre et des résolutions de problèmes réalistes. La classe en japonais・日本語クラス・The class in Japanese Le CM1-2 小学校4-5 Grades 4-5 (1) Les élèves ont apprécié des œuvres littéraires telles que La dernière leçon de Daudet, Les enfants du village de Yamashiro de Lindgren et Kusamakura de Natsume Soseki. Ils ont également appris la chanson "Je suis un chat" de Soseki Natsume en s'essayant à la dictée japonaise. La pratique des kanji est également effectuée régulièrement pour consolider l’écriture. (2) En arithmétique, nous poursuivons les apprentissages. En ce qui concerne les décimales et les fractions, les élèves pratiquent la répétition des niveaux de base aux niveaux avancés pour consolider leur compréhension. (3) En sciences sociales, les élèves découvrent l'histoire moderne et la technologie et dans le domaine de l'art, ils approfondissent leur compréhension de la peinture et de la sculpture (Raphaël, État de la Cité du Vatican). La Grande Section de maternelle 幼稚園の年長 The Kindergarten La classe en français・フランス語のクラスで・The class in French Nous travaillons sur le thème de l’automne et apprenons du vocabulaire sur les animaux de la forêt “l’arbre roux”. Nous apprenons à écrire : arbre, bûcheron, abeille, corbeau. Nous écrivons aussi la date seuls et nous nous repérons dans le temps en français. Nous apprenons toutes les lettres de l’alphabet et essayons de ne plus confondre avec les lettres en anglais, c’est difficile mais on y arrive ! En mathématiques, nous comptons de plus en plus loin, nous décomposons les nombres (5=4+1,3+2…) et adoptons des stratégies pour compter plus vite. Nos gestes se précisent dans le coloriage et le découpage et nous créons des oeuvres artistiques aux couleurs automnales. Continuons ainsi !  秋をテーマに、森の動物「赤い木」に関する語彙を学んでいる。 木、木こり、蜂、鴉の書き方を学んでいます。 また、一人で日付を書いたり、フランス語で方角を確認したりしています。 アルファベットをすべて覚え、英語の文字と混同しないようにしています！ 算数では、数を分解して（5=4+1,3+2...）より速く数えるための戦略を取り入れながら、遠くへ遠くへと数えている。 色塗りや切り抜きも上手になり、秋色のアート作品を作っています。 これからも続けよう！ We're working on the theme of autumn and learning vocabulary about forest animals, such as the "red tree". We're learning to write: tree, woodcutter, bee, raven. We're also writing the date alone, and finding our way through time in French. We worked on our cursive, creative writing, printing, comprehension, and phonics skills: Short Vowel Oo and Consonants Mm, Dd, and Word Families an and ad. We practiced our coloring skills and modeling skills in art. We have also been enjoying getting in the holiday spirit by singing and dancing along to seasonal songs! What fun!

Nous grandissons chaque jour et sommes de plus en plus autonomes.  Au niveau des apprentissages fondamentaux : nous rentrons dans l’écriture petit à petit. Nous avons travaillé les lignes obliques pour tracer plus tard certaines lettres comme le A,M... Nous commençons à visualiser le 3,4 et 5. Nous réalisons des créations artistiques chaque semaine et commençons à repérer et mémoriser certains mots : renard, arbre, feuille.
